Changes are everywhere.. and happen often. For my son changes are scary and the unknown makes him question everything.
As this year of school comes to an end.. Kale starts the “what-Ifs”…
“What if I get a different teacher next year?”
“What if I’m in a different classroom?”
While the majority of children are excited about summer and moving forward to the next grade, here is Kale already worried about the next school year ahead. ;(
All I can do is tell him that everything will turn out just fine… and that he will be okay!
It’s harder than you think it is…. trying to ease your child’s worries.
As Kale gets older… and into a new routine, he does however put the “what-Ifs” on hold and starts to enjoy daily activities without as many worries.
My series is written for those children and parents going through the same motions of childhood anxiety ….too few talk about.
It’s time to let children know …
